Bravo ... Bravo ... A Piano Concert Night for us

We got this nice electric piano from Grandma Bev for Christmas, it has been a lot of fun!  Reagan started taking lessons from a fantastic teacher in the ward.  She is a natural and is having a lot of fun learning to play the piano.
The following 2 clips are Reagan playing "Follow the Prophet", and Dylan playing his own ensemble!  :-)

We miss you "Super Grandma" ....We love you!

It was my Grandma's Birthday yesterday.  She would have been 87 years old.  She passed away March 2, 2009.

I loved growing up close to my Grandma and getting to ride my bike to her house nearly every saturday to "help" or just hang out and play.  She was a kind and stern woman, with a great sense of humor and a very grounded outlook on life.  She was a great example of living right, being yourself and loving life.  I can't remember a time when I stopped by or called and she didn't have time for me!   She always made us all feel loved, special and comfortable just being ourselves!  I am so grateful that my kids got to know her a little.  She was their "Super Grandma" because "she's not just great she's super" as said by one of my cousins kids.  After that it stuck and she was Super Grandma from then on.

Reagan and I got to go back to Utah for her funeral, it was so nice to be there and have a chance to pay tribute to such a wonderful woman with all of my family.  Thank you Dad for the tickets, and Wes for watching the boys so we could go.  We both had such a good time and are so glad to have been there.

Happy Birthday Grandma, we miss you and love you!

April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day!!!

April is Autism awareness month!  And April 2nd is World Autism awareness day!
If you are not aware of someone with autism now, you will be in the future. 1 in every 150 children in America are effected by autism.  I wanted to share couple of links that I thought were great reminders for us all to appreciate the many differences in each other.
We are so blessed to have all of our children in our lives.  And we are so thankful for the great strides that Dylan has made in his life!  He is an inspiration to our family everyday!
